Heirloom: A Chamber Brews Signature Cocktail Pairing

What might a brand new work for violin and cello by Sharon Udoh (aka Counterfeit Madsion) *taste* like? This Cocktail Pairing Event will feature our musical selections along with signature cocktails prepared by the genius minds of Seventh Son Brewing Co. Join us as we talk about the creative process and as we explore the interplay between taste and sound. Tickets are for the concert only, cocktails are not included in the ticket price. Cocktails will be available for individual purchase, and the Seventh Son Bar is open for ordering throughout the event. Non Alcoholic Drink options are available.

Featured on our program will be beloved works in the violin/cello repertoire by Zoltán Kodaly and Erwin Schulhoff, as well as lesser-known works by Adolphus Hailstork and a world premiere by Sharon Udoh (Commissioned by the Johnstone Fund for New Music).

Performing with Chamber Brews will be Devin Copfer (Director, violinist) and Sam Johnson (Program Developer, cellist). Chamber Brews is a collaborative new-music ensemble bringing unique and interactive programming to audiences through live performance, video series, and recordings. With the continued support of the Johnstone Fund for New Music, the Greater Columbus Arts Council, and our community, Chamber Brews continues to create programs celebrating diverse musical voices by regularly commissioning works, seeking out distinct performance venues, and collaborating with artistic partners in Columbus, Ohio.
